Dr. Luther Groth first developed an interest in Veterinary Medicine while growing up on the plains of South Dakota in Aberdeen. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at The University of Notre Dame in 1999 and spent the next two years in California serving as a volunteer through the Americorps program. Dr. Groth graduated from the University of Minnesota-College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005.
Dr. Groth has always wanted to be a veterinarian, and has a passion for animal health, the human animal bond, and the role of animals in public health. Dr. Groth originally worked with large animals in rural Minnesota, but has spent the past 8 years serving pets and their owners as a small animal veterinarian.
